Only by looking at it the opponent will chose different place to hit

Circa end of XIV, beginning of XV century pauldrons. That model is not copy of any specific historical example, instead its fusion of two similar types plus some free creation from armorer side. Made especially for heaviest bohurts, cover whole shoulder, more to the back than front, you can optional chose the additional armpit shield. For its size it’s quite light and not very restricting. I’m using it my self and since I got them no contusion at all. It’s made from 50HF steel and temper, the main part is 1,5mm and rest 1mm.

  • 1mm steel / Main shoulder plate is out of 1,5 mm steel
  • 50HF tempered steel
  • buhurt optimized design
  • rolled edges
  • 3mm strong leather
